Year 4 had a fantastic day with Humphs Histories on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th February. The children experienced a day packed with fun activities and new learning, linked to our topics of Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. Children were able to design and paint their own shield. Children enjoyed some rowing training,, learnt more about Anglo Saxon life and sorted foods that they ate. As two tribes - the Swords and Axes, they were able to have a mock battle and learnt about shield walls, battle tactics and weapons. The classes really enjoyed learning a new language of Old Norse. A great day was had by all!
