It has been a fun and creative last day of half term at Bilston. We have been on a Safari adventure including singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. Reception have been moving and dancing like Safari animals. Year One joined Mrs Bateman and Simba dancing to the Lion King and KS2 learnt traditional tribal dances. We had lots of fun exploring the African dance style and playing the Djembe with Mrs Banyard. KS1 have recreated fantastic Safari scenes— painting, making and collaging animals focusing on the colourful prints. Year Two also prepared themselves for the Safari journey, making and collaging Safari hats and binoculars. It is great to see Year Three have also produced digital artwork! We have also explored the work of famous Artists. Year Five have focused on the Artist Michel Keck and produced amazing collages. Year Six have been busy sketching using the Artist Gary Hodges work as their influence.
