Our Worship Group
Our Worship Group is made up of a dedicated team of pupils who expressed their interest by writing to us and asking to be involved. These pupils meet with me each week to develop their confidence and leadership skills while exploring what it means to contribute to the Christian life of our school.
Each week, the Worship Group works together to plan our assemblies. They help with readings, prayers, and songs, and they regularly join me in leading the opening and dismissal part of the assembly. As part of their role, they learn how to write and say prayers, and they practise speaking clearly and thoughtfully in front of others.
Members of the Worship Group also play an important role in modelling our school’s Christian values. Through their behaviour and attitudes, they show other pupils what it means to live out these values.
In addition to their weekly involvement in school worship, the group also represents the school at special services both in church and within the wider community. Their participation reflects their commitment and helps strengthen the strong links between the school, the church, and the local area.
We are proud of our Worship Group and grateful for the positive contribution they make to our school community throughout the year - The Revd Canon Adewole Foluso Adedipe.
