Congratulations to all our Easter Raffle winners! Thank you to everyone who bought tickets or sent money in for their children to take part.  Money raised bought an Easter Egg for every child in school. Your support is always appreciated!

The children explored creativity using natural materials to design and create their own animal collages. They worked with great focus and quickly discovered how challenging—and sometimes unstable—it can be to build with items from nature. Despite the difficulty, they showed fantastic perseverance and produced some wonderfully imaginative artwork.

Year 1 made some fantastic bonnets, we thought we would show you them! Thanks to all parents and carers for helping the children create them!

Our school is taking part in the ATTUNE project! The project aims to support schools to develop their practice in relation to emotional well-being and trauma informed practice. As part of this, a survey is being held for parents/carers to share their thoughts. Today Year 1 participated in science week. We completed lots of activities all about animal habitats, ecosystems and pollination.

Measles is an infectious disease which spreads very easily and can sometimes cause serious complications such as meningitis, pneumonia, blindness and seizures. Y1 enjoyed learning about birds as part of our science lessons. Today we enjoyed our outdoor learning.

As a reminder, we have an INSET Day tomorrow, so TODAY (Thursday 12th February) is the last day of school before the half term holiday!   We hope you’ll all enjoy a lovely break – school then re-opens for all children on Monday 23rd February.

Today we learnt about mental health awareness week. We talked about belonging together as a class and how important it is to have each other.
