Bilston C of E Primary School strives to be a ‘Nut Free’ school. This means that no nuts or products containing nuts are allowed on the school premises. This is implemented to protect pupils with severe nut allergies, which can cause life threatening reactions. Nut allergies are among the most common food allergies and can cause severe reactions including anaphylaxis. By eliminating nuts we are creating a safer environment for all pupils. Now that parents and carers are ordering their children's lunches on the school money app, dinner lanyards will no longer be in use.
