Exploring Identity Through Art in 4HM

Children in 4HM had the privilege of working with a range of talented artists from Wolverhampton Art Gallery, with a special focus on collaborating closely with artist Chadni Rathatha. As part of this enriching experience, the children learned about the influential BLK Art Group, their powerful body of work, and their lasting impact on the Black Arts Movement in the UK.

Inspired by these artists, the children explored themes of identity and self-expression. They engaged in thoughtful discussions and creative workshops, ultimately producing artwork that reflects their own personal stories. Each piece is a unique representation of who they are, showcasing their individuality, creativity, and the power of art to tell meaningful stories.
