Exploring Plant Lifecycles in Science

This term in Science, Year 2 have been learning about different plant lifecycles and observing how seeds grow and change over time. Today, the children used real plants and seeds to observe each stage first‑hand. They carefully examined and described every part of the lifecycle — from seed, to germination, to seedling, and finally to a mature plant.

This hands‑on investigation helped deepen their understanding of how plants grow and provided a wonderful opportunity for them to apply their scientific observation skills.
