Important Information

Bilston C of E Primary School strives to be a ‘Nut Free’ school. This means that no nuts or products containing nuts are allowed on the school premises.

This is implemented to protect pupils with severe nut allergies, which can cause life threatening reactions.

Nut allergies are among the most common food allergies and can cause severe reactions including anaphylaxis.

By eliminating nuts we are creating a safer environment for all pupils.

Lunches & Snacks – Please ensure that any food items sent in to school with your child do not directly contain nuts, this includes treats brought in for celebrations such as birthdays. (Please remember Nutella and other chocolate spreads contain nuts).
