New Art & Environment Project with Kanjana Nicholas – Raising Awareness About Ocean Pollution

Year 2 have begun an exciting new project with artist Kanjana Nicholas, focusing on the important topic of ocean pollution. The children have been learning about the dangers plastic waste poses to sea creatures and the ocean environment. Inspired by the work of artist Josh Gluckstein, they are now creating a large sculpture using recycled materials to help spread awareness. Through this creative project, the children are not only developing their artistic skills but also becoming passionate advocates for protecting our planet. I can’t wait to see their finished sculpture and the important message it will share!
