Trip to the BCLM

We visited the Black Country Living Museum and experienced how life was in the past. We saw old houses, shops, and schools from over 100 years ago. The streets were made of cobblestones, and the buildings were very different from today.

We met people dressed in old-fashioned clothes. They showed us how people used to cook, clean, and work. In one house, the fire was used for heating and cooking. There were no TVs or computers - just books, toys, and board games.

Our trip helped children to understand what life was like for families in the past. It was a fun and interesting way to consolidate our history knowledge.
