Wolverhampton Community Games Baton

On Wednesday 17th June, Bilston C of E received the Wolverhampton Community Games Baton. This Baton represents the Commonwealth games, as well as celebrating the importance of community spirit, team work and hard work. Staff and students from Khalsa Academy transported the Baton to us on foot. We gave them a brilliant reception with lots of cheering and even a bit of cheerleading. After this, we embarked on our journey across Bilston to run the baton to the next school, Stowlawn Primary. We were greeted with children and staff from all year groups on their school field ready to deliver the Baton. Thank you to everyone that was involved!
