Year 2 Carp Kites

Today, Year 2 learned about the tradition and design of carp kites before creating their own vibrant versions in class. After crafting and decorating their kites, the children headed outside to test them in the wind — an exciting part of the process!
They finished the session by evaluating their designs, reflecting on what worked well and what they might improve next time. It was a wonderful blend of creativity, hands‑on learning, and outdoor fun.
