Free MMR catch-up clinic being run for pupils at Aldersley Leisure Village
Measles is an infectious disease which spreads very easily and can sometimes cause serious complications such as meningitis, pneumonia, blindness and seizures. Measles has re-emerged in England in recent years, with many outbreaks linked to nurseries and schools. The best way to prevent measles infection is to have the MMR vaccination. Our Visit to Wolverhampton Girls High School
We chose six pupils from year 5 to attend an exciting STEM discovery day at Wolverhampton Girls High School. The children were introduced to computer programming where they had to input certain codes to make a shape. Scarlett was the first child out of the three schools that we were with to input the codes correctly and make a square. She then helped her peers to complete their programming. Y2 Sculptures with Natural Materials
The children created wonderful sculptures using natural materials and salt dough. They explored how to build and connect sticks and twigs, discovering through trial and error just how tricky it could be. They persevered, supported one another, and achieved fantastic results. What an amazing job they did!

Year 5 Visit to the Life Exhibition on 6/3/26
On Friday we were invited to St Matthew’s Church to take part in the Life Exhibition. This exhibition was based on the life and teachings of Jesus. There were four zones which were interactive and developed the children’s knowledge and understanding of the life and death of Jesus.
